Heyah, If you are looking for a ways to be one with nature... TANAY in the place! Believe me. 

Dropping on the said Province makes us realize "Tourist destination pala talaga ang Tanay"..wanna know why? When we arrived, lots of tricycle drivers offered us packages for the tour in Tanay. 

CALINAWAN CAVE: Nature and History in One Adventure Filled Weekend

The history of Calinawan Cave dates back during the World War 2 as this was said to have been used by the Guerrilla warriors as hideout against their enemy, the Japanese. Here became clear the aspirations and hopes of our ancestors and here dawned to them the realization to fight for freedom against the oppression of the foreign conqueror, hence the name “Kalinawan”.   (Kalinawan means "clarity"... for this is the place where Pilipino had the courage to fight the HAPONs, or sort of?) Nowadays, Calinawan cave is famous for being a filming spot for both local and international movies. (awanderfulsole 2016)

To explore the cave you need to pay 40php for registration & for 200php the tour guide (fix na po ung 200 kahit pa group kayo kso pag masydo na pong mdaming hahatiin na sa 2 tour guide to protect the cave).

The entrance fee at Daranak Falls is 50 php..There's also cottage, pavilion, tables for rent. BUT because we're just two kaya we just rented a locker (50php).

From Snta.Cruz Laguna - Siniloan 45php Siniloan to Tanay -43 php Tanay 3cycle arkila 600 for 3 destination.

Find your way to the UV Express terminal at Starmall in Shaw Boulevard
Mandaluyong City and look for Tanay-bound vans. 
The fare is ₱70 and takes around 2½ to 3 hours..

LAIYA ADVENTURE PARK

We are searching for a place that is new.. Place where we can relax and find adventure...
After the months of teaching.. It's time to relax :) and time to celebrate our birthday (by the way me & my boyfriend have the same birth date April 8 & we are both teacher)

April 9 we decided to celebrate our bday in this beautiful adventure park..
The LAIYA ADVENTURE PARK. We take first our bfast in MCDO Candelaria. After that we ride in a tricyle going to Candelaria Sambat (10.00) and take a jeep going to San Juan Batangas (20.00)

From San Juan Batangas, we look for a Jeepney going to Aplya Laiya. Where LAIYA ADVENTURE PARK is. A picture from the jeep going to Laiya. San Juan Batangas to Laiya took 1 hour I think.

From the highway of Laiya you're going to walk.walk.walk.walk to finally see the Adventure Park. Upon arriving on the park we learned that they have a free shuttle from the high way gosssshhhh! (to late to know) just contact them and they will pick you up there. The entrance fee of the park is 80.00. Additional payment for the amenities you want. We just pay for the swimming pool for 250 (each)

There you are the adventure corner of the park. Sadly :( we didn't try any of this rides (next time na lang daw sabi ni boyfie pagready na sya haha). They also have their own restaurant where you can take your lunch.

Truly we need little time to spend with our partner and have the quality time. The staff on this park is truly so hospitable, very approachable & friendly. The park makes as feel so relax even though we travel far. One thing that catches our attention is their sooooo clean comfort room. Take a look :)

They have the lockers for their guest. :)

The Laiya Adventure Park is for day accommodation only (because they still developing the area). This park is open from 8:00am-5:00pm only. And while waiting on the shuttle we interview one  of the staff and she say that this park is around 21 hectares. They opened the park last January that's way it is new to the guest. If you want to know the whole package of the adventure par here's the total package.

 Totally, we really enjoyed the adventure. Even though we did not use to rides we promise to definitely go back in this place and surely try it :) (as my boyfriend promise)

 Travel Tips:

* Having a car is a real advantage

* Contact the park if you don't have a car so that you can use their shuttle.

* You can bring a food

* The adventure park is more enjoyable with your barkadas

* Travel early

* Get the package you want to save or have a discount.

Fare : San Pablo City - Candelaria (35.00)

          Candelaria - San Juan (20.00)

          San Juan - Laiya (30.00)

          Total : (75.00) one way only

Park Entrance Fee : 80.00

Total : 480.00 (we did not include the food coz we its your choice what you're going to eat.)
